This is a modern round house in ranch country. Mile East when you turn off of highway 71. The area is quiet with beautiful night sky view and clear view of sunrise and sunset. Short drive to local attractions Wind Cave Park, Mammoth site, Wild horse Sanctuary etc. Licensed by the SD Department of Health as a B&B. The space Home is located in a ranching area on a gravel road with pastured horses. It is a short drive to the town of Hot Springs, Restaurants, Evans Plunge and Cascade Falls, and centrally located for other Southern and Northern Black Hills attractions. Host family of one. I live in a separate part of the house; therefore, guest have a private entrance and use of the living room and kitchen. Guest Bedroom has an 18-foot privacy wall partitioning it from the living room. There is no door. You cross an open hallway to get to your bathroom. Guest closet contains a small refrigerator. Please see pictures. Space is comfortably suited for one or two people or couple with a child 4-15 years (A cot is provided for a child). I enjoy having guests but am conscious of maintaining my guests' privacy. Please read house rules. Feel free to ask questions. Guest access Guest has access to the kitchen and living room. Privacy wall without door separates quest bedroom from the living room and kitchen. Privacy screen is available to close off the bedroom entrance. My quarters have a separate entrance from guest quarters. A small refrigerator is in the guest closet. Twenty-five-foot ceiling slopes to 18 ft wall which is open at the top to maximize light and east -west cross ventilation. There is a ceiling fan and room air conditioning. 5 acres of land 2 1/2 acres is cut grass. Enjoy sitting outside, listening to and watching the birds or walking the land. There are horses and cattle on adjacent ranches. You can see the young colts and may even see a cattle drive. During your stay I enjoy people but am respectful of guest's privacy. I will be present during the guest's stay. I provide access to coffee maker or kettle to make tea. Guests have access to kitchen to prepare meals and have a small refrigerator in the bedroom closet. This is ranch country with no streetlights. Make sure you have the written directions, sometimes there are dead spots and cell phone/GPS does not work.
