The Fourth Street House was built in 1948 and we are delighted to share it with you! The house is located on a residential low-traffic street and will charm you as soon as you step in the front door! It has recently undergone renovation of the kitchen, both bathrooms, refinished original hardwood floors and brand new furniture throughout the home. Its relaxing atmosphere, gorgeous views from the back deck and access to Market Street make this home a treasure. The space Walking in the front door, you will be delighted by the quaint living room. Moving through the first floor, you will find the master bedroom, a full bathroom, the kitchen, a beautiful dining area with french doors leading to the back porch (a wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee and evening wine) and home office/second sitting room. There are two additional spacious bedrooms upstairs with a second full bath and lots of storage areas. The laundry room is in the basement and easily accessible to guests. The living room features a 65' smart TV. Guests are encouraged to bring their passwords to any streaming services they subscribe to. Guest access The Fourth Street House is part of Maysville's Historic Downtown and its Entertainment and Dining District. It's within eyesight of The Underground Railroad Museum. The Gateway Museum, Washington Opera House, The Russell Theatre and the Old Pogue Bourbon Distillery make Maysville a delight to visit. Augusta, KY is a 15 minute drive from Maysville and is a beautiful historic river town with wonderful restaurants. If you would like a specialty coffee, check out the Parc Cafe, College Coffee, LilJumbo Coffee Company or Kenton Stories with Spirit. Restaurants include Caporoni's Restaurant and Bar (George Clooney's favorite!), Pasquales' Pizza, DeLites or El Caminante Mexican Restaurant. Other things to note There is on street parking in front of the house and private parking in the rear. Downtown Maysville is very walkable, and The Fourth Street House is just a short stroll from everything!
