The space This quaint cottage space in the residential area of South Providenciales island provides an authentic experience when traveling to Turks & Caicos Island. Whether you’re an adventure-seeker or a seeker of peace and natural beauty, you’ll have what you’re looking for in this Chalk Sound beachside cottage! The main spaces 640 sq ft cottage: - A comfortable LIVING AREA with a sofa and TV with basic cable for relaxing downtime moments at home. - A fully-equipped KITCHEN and all you'd need to prepare meals at home. Plus a coffee maker and kettle for morning perk ups or afternoon tea, a toaster and blender too! - A DINING TABLE for 4 to eat meals but it can also be a laptop workspace if needed to get some remote work done. - 2 BEDROOMS, 1 FULL BATHROOM plus a HALF BATH to accommodate 6 guests: BEDROOM 1: king-sized bed in a wood sleigh bed frame, night stands w/ lamps and dresser. BEDROOM 2: queen-sized bed in a dark wood sturdy bed frame with nightstands & lamps. LIVING ROOM: 1 Sofa Bed (Sleeps 2) - There’s a WASHER and DRYER in the cottage for added convenience. - Guests have access to free parking at the guest house. You can also take a little stroll down to the gazebo located between the two guest cottages and enjoy the Chalk Sound views from there. There is a shared patio area too. The views are always amazing and it’s a great way to start your day or end it with a spectacular sunset!. The deck down below facing Silly Creek is the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or a cocktail and catch amazing sunsets. There are 2 chairs on the deck. If you need more, you'll find beach chairs supplied in the cottage and a parasol you can use for shade. The cottage is located on Chalk Sound, South Providenciales of Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) which is a quiet and peaceful residential area. It features Chalk Sound national park and its highly scenic natural lagoon on one side and the Atlantic on the other. You’re bound to enjoy some stunning views whether you enjoy sunrises or sunsets. It’s also close to some of South Provo’s top beaches like Taylor Bay and Sapodilla Bay Beach. Guest access You’ll have full, exclusive access to the cottage and the private deck during your stay plus shared access to the gazebo and patio area between your cottage and the other guest apartment in front. Other things to note WiFi, cable TV, parking spots for 2 vehicles, bed linens, bath & beach towels, and beach essentials like a beach umbrella, beach blanket & snorkel gear are provided free for guests during their stay. There is no daily housekeeping but if you’d like a cleaning, one can be arranged for an additional fee. Just let us know in advance so we can set it up for you. There is a BBQ grill available in the backyard of the property and it is free to use but please note it is shared with other guest cottage in front, as is the gazebo. For sanitary reasons, there is no food stored in the kitchen or refrigerator. All food items are removed after each guest checks out. Therefore there will be no supply of items such as condiments, cooking oils, boxed food, etc. prior to check-in. If you plan to cook at home, you’ll need to buy these items at the grocery stores or we offer a grocery shopping service, where we’ll shop for you, get all the items on your list and bring them to the cottage for you for an additional fee. We supply some home/bath essentials to make you feel more at home when you arrive like toilet paper, soap and some shampoo during your stay. If you need something else, you’ll need to pick up what you need at the store and bring it in. Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation. A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met. There is a security camera monitoring the public street entrance gate which will show whenever any of the guests drive out and get back in. The owner lives next door, so this camera is actually attached to the owner's home. Turks and Caicos is going through a decrease in the water supply. This means that the water pressure can sometimes be affected when the reservoir levels are low. Water shortages can happen throughout the day. HOUSE RULES - Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book. - No smoking of any kind is allowed (tobacco or cannabis) allowed inside the home, and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty. - No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music is allowed. Please be respectful of the neighbors. - No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed. No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property. - Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if needed after their stay. - Renters may be required to provide a government ID upon booking, on the day of checking in, or during their stay for identity verification. - Please avoid moving furniture. - Pets are not allowed.
