Historic home built 1754, oldest house in the town of Sandisfield MA and local historians believe that the house served as the "Bosworth Tap Room" in the late 1700's/early 1800's. Located in the southeast corner of the Berkshires. Wide plank floors, historic details, eclectic antique furniture. This house is a work in progress but we've been told by many guests it's time to open it up to AirBNB guests! The space This is a historic colonial house, wavy wide plank floors, hand cut beams, hand made nails. In the last few years we've updated the mechanicals, insulation, foundation replacement, original floor restoration. By renting this house your spending some time in a part of American history, we are just caretakers of the house and hope you feel the same and enjoy your time in it with care! Guest access The full house except the garage unless we have some issue where a guest needs access to some of our cleaning gear. Other things to note . Shopping is about a half hour drive away so best to pick up groceries and top off your gas tank before getting to the house.
