The space The building was originally built around the 1940's and was owned by the United States Postal Service. It was renovated into 5 modern industrial apartments in 2022, that range in size and still has the DMS Mail Management sign in the exterior. The building includes a shared lobby/game room, a fully fenced back yard, and a parking lot. This apartment is a 2 bedroom, 2 full bath apartment with a full kitchen and dining room, and an additional day bed & trundle in the living room. The master bath has a giant soaking tub and separate shower. It also includes a washer and dryer. Other things to note *The building is located across from the Rosa Parks center and train station in downtown Lafayette & is within walking distance of everything in the downtown area: coffee shops, restaurants, museums, nitelife, art walk, etc. It's located one block from the main stage for Festival Internationale, downtown live, etc. It's within 2 blocks of Mardi Gras parades. It's the perfect location for travelers to experience a little bit of our city. *The preferred mode of travel here is Uber or Lyft. Bicycles work in the downtown area, and we do have a bike rack in the back yard. Bike rental is available at Hub City Cycles at 501 Jefferson St. *Food delivery options: Doordash, Uber Eats.
