It is not best for those who have physical limitations as you must walk around the house through the yard to gain entrance to the apartment. The space This comfortable, spacious one bedroom apartment is the perfect place for your time away in the High Country. Ski, shop, hike, float or cheer on App State before returning to a quiet place less than 5 miles from downtown Boone. The space is a basement apartment with separate porch and entrance. It includes a queen bed, TV with Roku, high speed internet, full kitchen, and full bath. The apartment owners live upstairs with their cockapoo but maintain quiet hours between 9pm-7am. To access the apartment you must walk through the yard to the back of the house (Future plans are to put pavers to mark the path but clear directions will be given). There is a pool and hot tub on the property which are not available to guests. Guest access When you turn on our road, you will follow a gravel road a half a mile to the concrete driveway. Although the road is well maintained, 4 wheel drive is recommended during the winter in case of snow. Guests will park on the left side of the driveway and walk around the left side of the house to the back entrance. Self check in is easy with a door lock code provided. Pictures and specific details will be provided during check-in. Other things to note Rental does not include pool or hot tub use. The family may be using these at times during your stay.
