There is a nice walking trail around the lake. Within 10 minutes walk to the other direction from the lake there is Safeway, public school, public bus to Rockville metro station, Rock Creek Village shopping mall (has bank, restaurant, CVS, barber shop, beauty salon, wine and liquor store, coffee shop…..). So this is a neighborhood with tranquil and serene comfort yet has the convenience to meet your daily needs.
