It is located about 10 minutes from downtown Freeland and 15 minutes from downtown Langley. This studio is a renovated daylight basement of a house. The owner lives upstairs but allows the guests privacy. There is a gated entry with a key code to the parking area and a private entrance on the ground floor with a keyless entry as well. The home is situated on a high bluff facing west. There is also a building on the property, "the sanctuary" that guests have access to. The yard is fully fenced with gates that latch and no one will share the yard with you while you stay. Please note: if you have physical disabilities or a hard time walking, this property may not be comfortable for you. The King bed is situated on a platform with 3 steps and no railing around the platform. Guest access Keyless private entry. You will have private use of the entire fenced backyard with the view, the Sanctuary outbuilding, newly built view decks with hammock, the firepit, and a large covered and uncovered newly paved patio with a fire table and comfortable patio furniture. You will also have access to a private gated beach, which is located about .5 miles from the house. Other things to note Please note that we welcome pets, but we charge a $50 flat rate per pet per stay. This is not a nightly pet fee; it is just per stay. Also, please note there are three steps up to the bedroom loft, with no railing. Lastly, knowing that this rental is the bottom part of a whole house is important. Someone is living upstairs who has small dogs. He is cautious to keep them quiet and the dogs will never be in your space.
