The Whispering Pines Cabin Retreat in Murphy, North Carolina is the perfect mountain escape for the entire family or for a romantic couple to get away. This newer, well-appointed cabin includes a gas fireplace topped with a 65" TV, stainless appliances and fully equipped kitchen. Bedding includes a king bed in bedroom #1 with access to the screened-in porch through double-french doors. A "Double-Down/Twin-Up" bunk bed is in the second bedroom to accommodate adults and kiddies alike. The main road is paved and fun to drive with lots of deer feeding on properties. The road to our mountain cabin is gravel and is easy to navigate. The circular driveway is right in front of our cabin with ample parking. Detailed directions will be provided as your arrival date approaches. Note: While the living quarters are on a single level, there are approximately 6 steps leading up to the entrance to the cabin. and an additional set of approximately 12 steps leading to the back yard. Upon arrival, your relaxation begins with easy access by way of a Smart-Lock set to your unique and personal 4-digit code. This same code can be used with the Simplisafe Security System. This allows you to set the alarm pad located near the front door when you are away or when you retire at night and deactivate it with your lock code. Motion-sensitive exterior lighting and security cameras also keep you safe around the clock…but these are only a formality because the neighborhood is wonderful. To insure your privacy, all cameras are outside and mounted in such a way as to capture only exterior areas such as the front door, driveway, back porch and backyard/fire pit area.
