This spacious 3-bed, 2-bath home features an open living space filled with natural light and modern amenities including central heating and cooling for your complete comfort during your stay in San Diego. The space ‘Serene Vista’ is a newly remodeled vacation home with a spacious open floor plan where you can enjoy the spectacular canyon and ocean views while lounging, cooking, dining, or entertaining. The private covered patio renders a unique indoor/outdoor living experience while enjoying the cooling canyon breezes. The living area offers a comfortable sofa, club chairs, benches, and a large 65” flat-screen Roku Smart TV with numerous built-in apps including Netflix, Prime Video, HBOMax, Hulu, Apple TV, Sling, Spotify, and more. A dedicated office desk and a chair are provided for those who may need to get some work done during their stay. Cooking a delicious meal in the modern kitchen is effortless and enjoyable thanks to the stainless-steel appliances, sparkling stone countertops, and serene canyon and ocean views. Share your culinary creation at the sleek solid-wood farmhouse table with family or friends at sunset for an optimal dining experience. When you’re ready to call it a night, each of the 3 bedrooms offers a comfortable king-size bed, along with plush comforters and sheets, which assure you a plentiful space and a restful sleep. Parking is a breeze - two cars can park on the driveway, and there is also plenty of easy parking directly in front of the house on the street. The large single-car garage is also available if you prefer to park in it or use it as a space to store your gear such as surfboards and bikes. ‘Serene Vista’ is located in the pristine canyon-rim neighborhood of Paradise Hills. This neighborhood of neat single-family homes is great for walking and bike riding, with access to the Paradise Hills Recreation Center, Skate Park, and Native Plant Garden - all just a ~6-minute walk away. It is also a quick ~10-minute drive to the Navy base in National City, and Downtown San Diego, Petco Park, San Diego Convention Center, Gaslamp Quarter, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Old Town, Sea World, and the International Airport are all within a ~20-minute drive. When you are in the mood for visiting a beach, Coronado and Imperial Beach are also only ~20 minutes away. Amenities at Serene Vista include a fully equipped kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, complementary coffee, free WiFi internet, flat-screen TV with built-in apps (each entertainment app requires guest's own log-in information), central heat and air conditioning, thermal windows with noise reduction, wooden window shades, sofa and club chairs, benches, office desk and chair, spacious king-size beds, linens, free washer and dryer, shaded back yard and patio with outdoor furniture to enjoy incredible ocean and canyon views, spacious garage, keyless entry, and more! Serene Vista welcomes guests of all colors and is also an LGBTQ+ friendly place. Guest access Access is allowed to the main house, the backyard up to the white vinyl fence, and the side yard. No access to the canyon beyond the white vinyl fence. All mulch areas are walkable with shoes on. Pavers in the front yards are for decorative purposes only. Inside the house, you will find a laminated guest instructions document, usually placed right next to the flat-screen TV, for helpful information. Other things to note No use of the fireplace. No smoking indoors. No pets allowed. No parking in the garage. Please do not throw away anything, especially cigarette butts, into the canyon (please use the ashtray provided on an outdoor table). Please observe quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am, as the home is located in a neighborhood of single-family homes. We have a gardener who goes to the property every other Wednesday or Thursday during the day for landscape maintenance; so, please don’t be alarmed if you see the gardener doing maintenance in the front or back yard.
