On a 10.800m2 huge private property near Pakem/Kaliurang, a stylish 4/6-persons’ Javanese Villa in a beautiful garden, blessed by the sound of the Boyong river waterfall just behind it, great views of the Merapi/Yogyakarta in the distance & by perfect cool weather. It’s my own home, available for rent for nature lovers (maximum 6 guests). Breakfast included. Jeep tours directly from the land/massages available on request. The space The Limasan Villa includes: - a main 50-square-meters living-room, with a big relaxing sofa, a queen-size bed with its mosquito net and a working corner, opening on a panoramic terrace located along the Boyong river, facing the South and Yogyakarta in the distance; - a luxury king-size bed’s bedroom with its mosquito net opening on the central garden (where I can add an extra queen-size mattress if you are more than 4 guests); - a state-of-the-art bathroom that provides a shower and a great terrazzo-made bathtub allowing you to take comfortable warm bathes; and a laundry corner equipped with a modern washing machine, that guests can use; - a circular terrace that surrounds the Villa, with a dining area facing the Boyong river valley; - a kitchen corner is available on the Southern terrace, that includes full tableware (plates, bowls, glasses, ustensils etc), a fridge, a water dispenser, two gas burners, a water keetle, rice cooker and toaster, along with a sofa set to enjoy the views, the peacefulness and the sound of the Boyong River dam’s waterfall. The adjacent First House comprises of a large 40m2 open living room and kitchen, a small sleeping room, and an open bathroom surrounded by nature. This is where I will be during your stay in the Villa, ready to help you if needed, and preparing breakfast. This is also where the funny “Ring The Bull” game is installed, that will make you laugh for sure! These two houses are built with care, using the best material available, such as teak wood, huge panoramic windows, volcanic stones and traditional clay tiles. They stand on a 10.800 square meters piece of land named “Undhak-Undhak Kemiri”, a huge property if compared to Javanese standards, where you will feel charmingly isolated and away from the city crowds and noises, and which is perfect if you have a dog, that will be able to run freely and in a secure setting. You can have a nice walk around the land, which is filled with bamboos and other tropical plants & fruit trees (salak, papaya, rambutan, coconut & banana trees, pineapple). There is also a vegetable garden, in order to grow our own vegetables, that you can have a look at (and even take some if you do your own cooking). A large covered and secured parking lot at the entrance of the property is available for you to park your motor vehicles easily and safely. Due to the 700 meters above-sea-level’s altitude, the weather is perfect, around 22 degrees Celsius all the time, especially if compared with the Yogyakarta usual heat. There are almost no mosquitos at this altitude. This place is recommended for nature lovers, travellers who enjoy being away from the traffic and other tourists, families, people travelling with pets, anyone willing to do the famous Merapi Lava Landmarks jeep tour or any other Kaliurang’ touristic activities, artists, birders enjoying watching birds, people in need of privacy and tolerance, people wanting to visit Borobudur and Prambanan but willing to avoid the city’s traffic jams and heat, etc etc. This is an "Airbnb listing old style": that means staying at my home/own villa, received by me and not by an anonymous key box or a property manager. It also means keeping the price rather low, and not charging any cleaning fee, or pet fee, or whatsoever fee: it's not a job for me, more a way to welcome and meet new people - and make a bit of extra money of course, which helps to keep the property running well, but money is not the main driving force here. IMPORTANT NOTE: I ONLY HAVE THE CAPACITY TO HOST 6 PERSONS, AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE MORE. MAXIMUM 6 PERSONS. Guest access Villa Undhak-Undhak Kemiri’s guests are able to access all the space on the land, i.e. the rental Limasan Villa, the First House, the gardens and the whole land, without restrictions. Other things to note BREAKFAST/FOOD: for breakfast I cook pancakes with Nutella, and offer fruits. Tea, coffee and mineral water are complimentary during your stay, as much as you want. There are many restaurants in the vicinity, and I will be happy to recommend the good ones for you. I also can cook basic but tasty simple dishes for you if you don't have your own vehicle to move around, or order local food to be delivered to you. See the photo of the menu in the kitchen's photo section. MASSAGE: massages are available, from Ibu Satinem from the Kemiri village, and must be booked in advance. Prices are below the food menu, see the photo in the kitchen’s photo section. PET-FRIENDLY: you can bring your dogs, no worries, the land is big and adapted. Please just make sure that the Villa remains clean. FREE CLEANING SERVICE ALL THE TIME. TRANSPORT SERVICES/JEEP TOUR: For any transportation needs, please ask me or Lestari, we will be glad to find a solution for you. There is a good car rental in Kemiri village, so it’s easy to get you a car with driver to take you anywhere, to pick you at the airport etc. Their prices are very reasonable. We can also book for you the famous Merapi Landmarks Lava Jeep tour, with Joes Adventure Lava Tour company, the jeep coming directly to the Undhak-Undhak Kemiri to pick you up, without the hassle for you of having to book this tour on Jalan Kaliurang. The tour costs between 400 to 600.000 Rp depending on the tour you choose, and I do not take any commission, just help you to book it.
