Guest suite One block to college, walk to downtown
One block from Wheaton college, the Prairie path, metra station, and a five minute walk from an updated downtown Wheaton area, my 1930 Cape Cod home has gorgeous gardens for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Private and secure, you’ll receive a passcode before arriving to gain entry into the house as well as your room. Coffee, water and soda are available in your room along with various snacks. All are included in your price! Many who stay, like to call it home and better than a hotel room! The space A queen size temperpedic mattress, brand new farm style cottage furniture, with storage and closet available. Keurig coffee maker and mini fridge are also in your room. No children allowed. I truly apologize, but my home is not child proof, I have fragile artwork, and a dog that may or may not like children. My home is surrounded by year-long blooming perennials, beautiful trees, and lush hostas so big, I’m still dividing and giving away! A garden oasis patio with fire pit, and lots of space for conservation or small party. Guest access Guests will have full access to the first floor area (your room, bathroom (exclusions to you), an extra room for meetings or quiet reading/meditation, family room, dining area, kitchen, and laundry space (in basement), if you need clean clothes. During your stay Owner lives at the home and can be reached by text, phone, yodeling, smoke signals, hand puppets, or plain ‘ol yelling. Your choice. If guests want me to hang out with them and I’m Not busy doing anything else, I’d love to sit and chat and get to know my guests better. People I’ve had visit me have been so interesting, funny, and congenial. Other things to note No children. Guests must be 21 or older. No pets. We have no vacancy for your furry lovable family member.
