On property originally deeded back in the late 1700s, in the quaint valley of Hockessin, this beautifully-renovated, historic guesthouse is your next home away from home. Featuring tons of natural lighting, charm, and cozy essentials to make for lovely stay. The space Upon entering the front door you will find yourself in the cozy living room. Built in shelving hosting books, and games for guests to use, a table for two, and a smart tv. The French doors lead to a patio that is only used for our guests. Up the few steps from the living room you will find the fully remodeled kitchen. Brand new appliances, soap stone counters with custom woodwork. The kitchen features a keurig, French press, tea kettle, nutri bullet, as well as coffee and tea. The bathroom is off the kitchen, and features in-unit washer and dryer. The bedroom is on this level and is spacious, including a king bed, smart tv and robes for guest use. The loft has a work from home space and a full bed with under-bed drawer storage Guest access The entire guest house and guest patio is available to guests, with the exception of the garage. Two parking spaces are available on the right side of the driveway, adjacent to the steps. Please note not to block the garage Other things to note Please note that on Monday mornings, landscaping crews come out. Guesthouse is attached to garage that is reserved for owner's use. You may sometimes hear the garage door as it is opened/closed. This will be avoided during quiet hours.
