This charming lakeside retreat is nestled within the gated community of Cooley's Rift. The fully equipped kitchen and inviting dining room make it easy to whip up delicious meals, while the cozy living room provides the perfect spot to unwind after a day of adventure. Step outside to enjoy the large covered porch, complete with a grill and an outdoor dining table. Take advantage of the private lake access for endless fun on the water. Guest access Guests have 24/7 access to the property. Exterior doors have keypad access. Other things to note IMPORTANT Unfortunately the dock is not currently usable. After the rain associated with Helene, the dock did start floating again, but we tested it and it “beaches” with the weight of one small person. The water level also keeps the ramp to the dock at such a steep slope it does not meet code requirements for safety. If you’d like to take the smaller blue kayaks (weight limit 120lbs, but 100lbs is more realistic) or the paddle boards out, you should be able to safely launch them at the community boat house on the other side of Lake Louisa. PLEASE NOTE - Guests are required to sign a rental agreement and will be asked to provide a description of who will be included in the group as well as provide make/model/license plate of any vehicles visiting the property. - Pets not allowed. Violation of this provision shall also be grounds for expedited eviction and forfeiture of all monies paid. - Early Check in/Late Check Out may be requested. There will be an additional fee of $30 for each additional hour added on.
