Your private entry goes right up a flight of stairs to your flat. The hall has a bonus space with coat rack and a place to kick off your shoes. The room off to the right is a completely renovated, enormous bathroom, which features a luxurious, 4 x 4-ft Italian tile shower, with Kohler fixtures. We provide cotton towels, soaps and hair care. We tucked a new washer and dryer into the bathroom design, just look behind the wooden screen! To the left off the hallway, there is a multipurpose living room, outfitted with everything you need for your Sheboygan getaway. We combined a kitchenette with breakfast bar, lounge space with leather sofa and chair, and a designated workspace in this bright and cheery space. The pantry off this room holds a variety of dishes and appliances for you to whip up a meal. Walk through the multipurpose living room, you'll reach your large bedroom with another sitting area. The bedroom is decorated in simple blue hues and features a new queen bed with cotton linens. This East-facing room has room-darkening shades, so you have a choice of waking up to the colorful sunrise or sleeping in. We added a Roku TV, so you can use your streaming services or enjoy the Roku content. There is also a Bluetooth-enabled Victrola record player, with an expanding collection of vinyl records. If our records don't suit your taste, play your own downloaded music through the speaker. Egyptian cotton robes are in the closet for those days you just feel like lounging. Guest access You have your own entrance with keypad lock. With the exception of one room that is used as storage, you have the entire second floor of the house. We live on the first floor. We have a dog, who LOVES people, but may bark occasionally at unexpected noise if we are not home. She was a rescue dog, and although she welcomes unfamiliar people, she does not care for unfamiliar dogs, which is why we do not allow guests to bring pets. There are large windows in each room, consistent with the era of the house. Natural light floods the space. Shades and blinds are on all windows, allowing you to manage the amount of light and privacy. There is a shared patio around the back of the house that you are welcome to use. There is ample seating. We love to be outside when we travel, so if you are hanging out on the patio, we will honor your privacy and use our front porch. You will encounter raised garden beds and planters around the house, and you are welcome to join in the harvest.... fresh herbs, veggies and such. You will have a kitchenette, with microwave, convection oven, hot plate, coffee machine and hot/cold brew Keurig. We've supplied dishes, pots, pans and basic supplies. Our guidebook will be available during your stay, which outlines all our favorite local restaurants, highlighting breakfast, lunch and dinner. You will have a small snack basket, with sweet and salty options.
