Unit is beneath the bedrooms of other units, and best suited to those who are quiet at night. The space Bedroom contains a full sized bed that sleeps 2 and a desk, A small twin sized cot that can be folded out and will sleep a child or smaller adult can also be requested along with your booking. Additionally, a pack 'n play can be provided upon request. Living/dining area contains a couch, TV and dining table. Full kitchen has all the basics and contains a full-sized oven and apartment sized fridge. Coffee and creamer for your first 1-2 days is provided. Newly updated, spacious bathroom contains a deep bathtub. Provided towels and bedding are washed with unscented Seventh Generation Detergent, and the maid service uses only natural cleaners. Outdoor garden area contains a gas BBQ, picnic table, and is fully enclosed. When the loquat or apricot trees are in bloom - please help yourself! There is also an area at the front of the house with a fig tree. It blooms in waves, and you are welcome to pick any black, soft, ripe figs that you see. Please do not eat apricots, kumquats, or vegetables you may find in the back yard, but do feel free to use the sage, oregano, mint and rosemary. *Please note that there are a few steps to get inside the gate on the property which can be circumvented by using the double gate, and a small step between each room inside the unit. Ceiling clearance in the bedroom is lower than in the other rooms, and taller guests should consider this before booking. Guest access Street parking can usually be found within a block or 2. Parking is free/unmetered. Street sweeping occurs 2x's per month. Other things to note There is a toddler living in the unit above. You may hear him cry at times, but it's rare. You may also hear us for a few minutes when he comes into my bedroom around 7a. I try my best to keep him quiet, and we usually go downstairs pretty quickly. Quiet hours are 10p-9a on weekends, and 9p-8a on weekdays. During these times, electronics may be used at low to moderate volume, but please refrain from loud conversations as there are bedrooms right above you. Weather patterns are usually temperate in Oakland. While this unit does include updated high-efficiency in-wall heaters, no AC is provided. This is typical of listings in Oakland.
