If you have a car, parking in the building is available for $35 per day (price is subject to change), payable directly to the parking machine at the garage entrance. HOW TO GET HERE: From Honolulu Airport, it’s about a 20-minute ride – Prices are around $45 depending on traffic. Follow the signs to the taxi area upon arrival. CHECKOUT CLEANING: The cleaning fee includes professional cleaning with sanitization of the unit; professional laundry of linens and towels with high temperature (180F) and restocking of amenities after each departure. Please note that this is only a starter supply to make sure you have everything you need upon arrival. LINENS & TOWELS: We provide one set of towels (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, beach towel) per guest. The bed is equipped with a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and a blanket. Linens for the sleeper sofa are on the sofa mattress, and pillows and a blanket are on the dresser. LAUNDRY ROOMS: There is a laundry room on the 3rd floor with coin and credit-card-operated washers and dryers. During this period, you may experience some noise and minor inconveniences as maintenance work is carried out to improve the property. Please be aware that access to lanais will be restricted 24/7 during this project. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time. *** Upcoming Projects: The Pacific Monarch will replace windows in the recreation and sauna rooms (September–October 2024, 2-3 weeks), modernize elevator equipment (September 2024–March 2026, one elevator out of service for 6 months), and install new lobby tile flooring (September–December 2024, 3-4 weeks). All work will occur M-F from 8 AM to 4 PM. Future projects may include fire alarm upgrades, generator re-wiring, and door lock replacements starting in 2025. Pool Closure: The Pacific Monarch will be resurfacing the pool starting November 25, with an expected completion date of February 14, 2025. Please note, that the start date is tentative and depends on the progress of the spalling project. The closure period may also be extended if additional time is required for the work. During this time, the pool will be closed to guests, and alternative arrangements may need to be considered. We encourage residents and guests to plan accordingly and stay updated on any announcements regarding the reopening date. We appreciate your patience during these improvements.
