Red John’s cabin In 2017 Red Johns cabin was placed on Alaska’s 10 most endangered historic properties list by the AAHP. In 2018/2019 this adorable cabin was restored with help from Alaska’s Historic Preservation Fund. It is one of 13 buildings contributing to Talkeetna’s historic district on the NPS National Register of Historic Places. History and Charm!!! The space This cabin was recently restored so brand new fixtures that included a claw foot tub with a shower kit, toilet and sink. Luxurious queen size bed. For our guest convenience there is a mini fridge, microwave and tea and coffee drink station. All fresh linens and towels will be provided for each guest. Guest access Red John’s cabin is one of two historic cabins on the property. They each have their private spaces as well as outdoor spaces. They do share a parking pad. Both can be rented out nightly. Other things to note This is a private cabin but is one of two on the property. We ask all our guest to please be considerate of one another. **PETS: Dogs allowed by Pre-approval only and additional $25 pet cleaning fee. Sorry no cats *$25 pet fee, you will receive a request prior to check in. Pets must remain on leash on the property and never left alone inside the cabins. Please be considerate and pick up after your pet.
