Tradewinds Guest suites is located less than a block from the water sports center and dock area.Located on ocean front on property with a sun deck. Each of the 5 suites have a large bedroom,bath, living room, kitchen or kitchenette, screened in porch facing the ocean. One of the suites has twin beds for singles traveling together.The living room has a queen size hideaway sofa sleeper. Tradewinds Guest suite offer you a clean, simple,charming environment , close to everything yet private. The space The entire suite is yours along with use of the whale watching deck and beach in front of the suites.mThere is a shared BBQ grill, bikes are available for rentals with reservations.There are 2 small stores on island for basic food supplies. Two of the cafes are within a block of the suites. World class snorkeling and diving on the 3 rd largest barrier reef in the world.There are kayaks rentals, Bone fishing and bird watching. We do not have cruise ships, crowds, casinos or crime. The island is know as the island time forgot and is like the Caribbean was 30 years ago but still is on Salt Cay. Guest access You have the use of the beach, whale watching deck and shared use of BBQ A new addition on the grounds of Tradewinds is Willy’s Place, offering alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages to sip on and enjoy the best sunset location on Salt Cay. There are also Cook out nights where you can order dinner ahead of time to dine at Willy’s or the comfort of your own suite. Other things to note ***There are Government taxes of 12% of your total charges that are additional and can be paid when you reach Salt Cay. Round trip airport transportation is included in your nightly rates. There are no banks or ATMs on island. Most everyone will request cash or personal US check, travelers checks or Pay Pal. A few places do accept Visa or MC. The entire island is safe to walk around freely day or night. Everyone loves the free range donkeys cows and chickens. The donkeys love to be pet. There are four stores on island for basics eggs milk cheese, canned goods. Most veggies and fruits need to be purchased on another island or brought in.
