An oceanfront two story, south facing, fully equipped chalet-style house perfect for couples or families. Each level has a living area, bedroom and bathroom. The upper level bedroom has a queen bed. The lower level bedroom has two extra long twin beds which can be placed together to make a king bed. The galley kitchen is fully equipped including an induction stovetop, quartz countertop, wall oven, microwave oven and dishwasher. There is a deck off the upper level living area. The lower level living area includes satellite TV, games, propane fireplace, and a heat pump (heating and cooling system). There are two full bathrooms, one on each level. The washer & dryer are located in the lower level bathroom. Bathroom towels, beach towels, and linens are provided. WIFI and BBQ are on site. At the shoreline of the property you can see the ruins of an old working cooperage. A century ago, wooden barrels were built here for the fishing industry and Chester Basin was well known for its many cooperages. Here, chairs welcome you to enjoy the lovely island views and in the summer you will discover why this area is a popular boating destination. The water is accessible so maybe you prefer to go for a swim or rent a kayak. One of the islands you can see from here is the legendary Oak Island which is famous for many theories of possible buried treasure. Treasure hunters have been searching for the past 150 years.
