The upstairs bedrooms have private bathrooms and lounge areas, the two lower bedrooms share a bathroom. Well equipped kitchen. You won't be asked to do any cleaning or chores before checkout, that's what the cleaning fee is for! The space The house has fast wifi, solar water heaters and a washing machine that guests are welcome to use (there's no dryer, but clothes dry very fast on the clothesline in the dry air). Like many homes here, the house is on a narrow alley and not accessible by car -- from the nearest vehicular street it's about a 30 yard walk to the front door. If this is your first time to Guanajuato, I hope you'll love the city as much as I do, but be aware that the city is 6,700 feet above sea level and very hilly, and the house has a lot of stairs (two flights of stairs to reach the upper bedrooms). Guanajuato has a very mild climate, and like most homes mine doesn't have heating or air conditioning, but the rooms have ceiling fans and extra blankets. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and the back yard. Other things to note Mario, the house manager, offers airport pickup from the Leon airport (BJX) for an additional fee of 550 pesos, which is roughly $30 US. He can take 3-4 people in his SUV.
