Located in the heart of Cajun Country just a short walk to downtown Breaux Bridge. Our property has 1 acre w fruit trees, flowers, cypress trees, 100 year old oak trees. This 2 bedroom Suite offers privacy in the back of our home. The two bedrooms share a private Jack & Jill bathroom. Room sizes & amenities are similar to standard hotel room. Continental breakfast fixings provided. See more below The space This Suite includes 2 private bedrooms in the back of our home. Each bedroom has a private sink w a lockable door to the shared shower & toilet area. One bedroom has a Queen bed & TV w Netflix & PRIME. No cable TV. The Second bedroom has no TV w a single daybed w choice of trundle or airbed for a fourth person. Guests are welcome to visit in the living and dining area and there is a kitchenette where they can store refrigerated items and make coffee and tea. There is a community outdoor kitchen as well as a BBQ pit for those that choose to cook. There is a lovely view of the bayou in the living area as well as on the back porch and outside deck. All the grounds are for your enjoyment. Guests are free to enjoy the views, living room room, dining room and kitchenette at all times. Continental breakfast fixings are provided including coffee, tea, fruit and baked goods in the dining room area. We are a non smoking property. If you've read this please let me know in the thread that you have and we'll be sure to include a welcome gift when you arrive Guest access Guests will be given a keypad code to enter the front door of the house and a key to lock their rooms for security. Front door is left unlocked during the day for easy in and out. During your stay This is our private home so we will be around the premises. We enjoy visiting with our guests and sharing life stories when they are around but do understand that some guests prefer privacy and do respect this too. We are very flexible and respect our guests wishes 100%.. We live on the premises so you may see us in and out and about the house and surroundings. We provide coffee and tea in the morning in the living/dining area overlooking the bayou. We prefer no shoes on the Flokati living room rug. Our guests have full privacy of their guestrooms and bath. We have 1 shy cat named Cali that stays mostly in our bedroom at night. Cali is not allowed in the guest rooms. Although we keep the house very clean and our friends with cat allergies have no problems when visiting our home, if you have cat allergy concerns we recommend our other private bungalow Weekend Getaway One acre on the Bayou. The kitchen can be used to warm up food or make sandwiches or salad but we prefer guests not use it for cooking meals. We do have an outdoor kitchen and BBQ pit. We are vegetarians and we do not cook any meat in our kitchen. We ask that our guests clean up after themselves when using the kitchen. Other things to note We have one cat Cali that keeps to herself and does her due diligent cat duty of sleeping 20 plus hours a day on our bed or upstairs. She does not go in the Suite area of the house. We have friends as well as guests with allergies that are not affected when they visit. Possibly because Cali stays outside and in our bedroom area mostly and we vacuum regularly.
