Located between the beaches of Bathsheba and Martin's Bay in a non residential/touristy area. This area has more of a local village flavour. Television, but no channels...we use it to watch movies from the computer. Other things to note There is an apartment below the house which is also rented on Airbnb, so there might or might not be guests during your stay. There are separate entrances etc, so no need to communicate if you do not wish to do so. We have sandflies (smaller than mosquitoes but not disease carriers). It´s best to spray your body in mornings and evenings if susceptible to bites. If you are extremely susceptible to odours and noises, TT might not be the place for you. Occasionally, there may be a smell from the animal farm above. This is rare, but it may occur. Also, when the pigs at the farm are fed, they can make quite a racket. I can organise for you to be met at the airport and directed to the house for an additional cost. Send me a message if you're interested in this option. If you plan on taking a taxi, please let me organise it for you with a driver who knows the house. It is not difficult to find, but it is off the regular taxi route...and sometimes they are not pleasant to deal with when they are unsure. I can assist with organisation of a 4 wheel drive jeep for rental. It´s rented on a first come first serve basis, so not always available. Please put garbage in the bins at the bottom of the hill. The garbage collectors will not come up the hill, not even when bribed. The house is in the bush, so if you leave garbage in the house...pests will follow it. Please put recyclables in the bright yellow bin at the bottom of the hill. We have steep stairs inside the house, which lead up to the loft (we call it a stader as in a cross between stairs and a ladder). These do not have handrails. The bathroom in the loft is fully open - no walls/doors. There´s a screen (in case you´re a bit shy).
