The space The house is a new construction post and beam chalet with brand-new modern amenities including a chef's kitchen, loft-style second floor, basement rec room with ping pong table, fire pit with Adirondack chairs off the front porch. Finished in 2023, Ensō House is a classic Post & Beam style custom construction using white pine lumber from northern Maine. Sitting on 4.2 acres in the historic artists community of Cragsmoor, NY, it boasts 3 ample bedrooms and 2 and ½ baths and 4 porches including a massive 32’ x 14’ south deck with a roof overhang to shield from the rain. As you arrive you’re greeted by a large field stone walkway and patio complete with a Sundance Spa hot tub accommodating 6-8 people. The large great room has a soaring 23’ vaulted exposed wood vaulted ceiling and holds a modern chef's kitchen, dining area, and living room. Overlooking the great room is a cozy loft office and game room. The house offers a ground floor master bedroom with king bed, private deck, and en suite bathroom with heated floors, bidet toilet, and a standing shower with bench. While the ground and second floors deliver 2100 square feet of living space, and there’s an additional 600 square foot basement rec-room featuring ping-pong, dart board, and 65” OLED Smart TV with Apple TV. There’s also a large mudroom / laundry room with a modern washer/dryer and slop sink. Guest access The entire house is yours with the rental.
