The space Upstairs, there are five bedrooms—one queen suite with a private bath, three double-queen rooms, and one bedroom with two bunk beds—in addition to one very large full bathroom. The main level has a full 3 piece bathroom, vaulted lodge style grand living room with a real word burning fireplace, fully equipped kitchen with large island and peninsula eating bar with all new appliances and hardware. The open floor plan features a beautiful dining room for 8 and 2 other eating/seating areas, a grand piano nook, game table, hearth room with skylights and a charming lounge with another fireplace and another TV. Other desirable features on the main level include an atrium with working fountain and 6 skylights, plus a very large laundry room with washer and dryer available to guests. The downstairs is a wonderful indoor recreation area, complete with a dance studio with barre and full wall mirrors, entertainment bar (no fridge or sink), pool table, ping pong table, dart board, workout equipment, and another full 3 piece bathroom (this bath is currently a 2 piece bath bc it is getting a new shower installed) The backyard is a total paradise oasis. There is a large 37,000 gallon in-ground sparkling pool with diving board, which is continually cleaned and maintainted. You and yours will also enjoy the hot tub spa, grill, horseshoe pit, six adjustable lounge chairs, four outdoor dining tables each with umbrellas (seating for 18), and an antique outdoor fireplace surrounded by an outdoor living room. This listing is for the rental of the whole house, but we have individual rooms available as well. We have beds that could sleep up to 18 people, however "Per Lincoln Municipal Code, it is unlawful for any person, regardless of license status, to rent or advertise a short-term rental unit to more than the number of persons calculated as the total number of sleeping areas on the licensed premises multiplied by two, up to a maximum of 12 persons." If your party is large than 12 people, we still encourage you to message us with your groups specifications and we will make every effort to make accommodations your larger party. The whole house is available or just a room or two, it's completely up to you!! We have several options to accommodate your desired number of rooms. So whether you're in town for a special event (like a Husker football game!) or you're planning a wedding, birthday party, family reunion, etc., The Big Coconut is your perfect getaway! Guest access We have a large three-stall driveway with attached circle drive with onsite parking for 8-12 cars. There is also plenty of street parking right out front for an addition 4 cars. For street parking, cars must be parked on our side of street in front of our house and up towards the circle, Do Not park in front of any neighbors house. Thank you! Other things to note We have done much renovations to the entire second floor - Including new carpet, all new paint in every room. New beds, new mattress's, mattress protectors, new sheets, new My Pillow's for every bed with pillow protectors, and all new comforter's, duvet's and throw pillows. All guest linens are cleaned in hot water and stored in airtight container's between rentals to keep linens fresh and sanitary for your stay! We have one cat that lives in the house when we are here. When the home is rented, the cat and all his things are taken with us. The house is cleaned and sanitized to the point where you can't even tell a pet lives here, but we're mentioning it for anyone who might have allergies.
