The Ashwood Chalet is an updated A-frame home featuring all the right additions and upgrades for an excellent stay—location, space, comfort, and style—while retaining its traditional Stowe ski-house allure. A large entry on the ground level of the home welcomes you to the Ashwood Chalet. Additional spaces on this level include a bunk room, bathroom, laundry, and great rec room complete with pool table and a vintage record collection to enjoy. Upstairs is the hub of the home. The galley style kitchen is ample and well-equipped and features a door to walk directly outside. The dining area, with its ornate table and chairs, is fabulous with floor-to-peak windows and doors to walk out to a deck with peek-a-view mountain views in the winter. An adjacent living room boasts a great wood-burning fireplace, comfy furnishings, TV, bench seating and another deck with barbecue grill and patio set for enjoying the outdoors. A full bathroom and cozy guest room with cottage-like vibe are toward the back of this level—a perfect spot to tuck into at the end of a day of fun! On the upper level, a nook with views out the windows in the peak of the A-frame is perfect as a workspace or for your morning yoga. Next to this is the spacious primary bedroom. Light, bright, and lovely, this space offers a king-sized bed, beautiful wood floors, and double closets. The Stowe Hollow location of this home is excellent—it offers peaceful seclusions yet is central to the bustling village of Stowe with myriad amenities and only ten miles to the ski resort. Just minutes down the road are Emily’s Bridge (a covered bridge with a story!), as well as the Stowe Pinnacle, and Kirchner Woods—such a bonus to have two beautiful and popular hiking and snowshoeing trails so close by!
