Finca Cacique is a full immersion in a preserved wild nature. We rent a 3 bedroom house located just 5 min walk from the village of Cacique. You'll enjoy the best of both worlds–proximity to the sea and an immersive jungle experience, surrounded by trees and often visited by animals such as monkeys and birds. We rent kayaks to go all around the islands and the tunnel of love. For nature enthusiasts and animal lovers, this is paradise. (Please notice that is not a beach front property) The space This house has a total of 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathroom, kitchen, living room, dinning area and a beautiful garden with hammocks and patio furniture. Traditional rustic bambu furniture blends into exotic tropical environment. Guest access You’ll be able to access all the areas of the house, the park and the patio all around. In the terraces you could drink some coffee, read a book or simply watch the tropical animals that come to visit us (monkeys, sloths, birds..). In the garden you can sunbathe and rest on the hamacas. Our friendly property staff’s room is located on the upper part of the house and has its own separate entrance (you won’t be sharing any space inside the house with him). He will be greeting you and helping you in case you need any assistance. Other things to note Cacique is one of the last natural paradise of the area: from the Finca without using car in a few minutes walking you can reach wonderful places: little white sand beaches, natural pools where to swim and snorkel.. Absolutely recommended to go kayaking (we rent 2 single ones) all around the islands we have in front of us and through the tunnel of love between mangroves. Be aware that we are located 6km away from the main street to Portobelo, so it is better to have a car.. but we also offer shuttle service at an additional cost. Also, please note that because this is a remote location, electricity blackouts may occur during your stay.
