Lakeview Cove is a modern, spacious waterfront home on Lake Chapin, an all sports lake. Sitting on a private 1.5 acres, Lakeview Cove has breathtaking views of the lake along with an abundance of outdoor amenities: private dock, kayaks, a swim island, year-round large master spa, fire pit, an Ooni pizza oven and more. Indoor amenities are just as great with a three seasons room with a cozy fireplace, a game room (ping pong, pool, arcade, foosball) and spacious enough to accommodate 15 guests. The space Lakeview Cove features 6 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms and multiple outdoor entertaining spaces providing plenty of space for groups up to 15, but also cozy and charming for an intimate getaway. Our home is located right on Lake Chapin for lake fun! We have a large swim spa perched on our hillside that offers amazing lake views and is a perfect spot to enjoy day and night. It's open year round so it's perfect for chilly nights! Our fire pit (solo stove) is nearby as well for making smore's. We also have a dock that has some seating where you enjoy lake views or watch the kids swim off the dock or off our private swim island! Lastly, enjoy the lake by docking your boat or jet skis right at the house! We have an arrangement with a local company to deliver a pontoon to a nearby launch. The interior of the home is just as impressive as the outdoor space. The home has oversized windows in the main room which allow for abundant sunlight to stream into the home and offers amazing sunrise and sunset views. Off the main room, you can retreat to a cozy 3 seasons room with a fireplace after a long day on the lake or in the sun. The home features 4 outdoor spaces including a dock with adirondack chairs to enjoy lake views, a small balcony off the primary bedroom for quiet coffee in the morning, an ample outdoor dining space to enjoy meals or rock in our chairs, and a deck with large Masterspa to soak in, a fire pit for late nights, and comfortable couches to stargaze. For lake fun, you can dock your boat, enjoy two kayaks, or just sunbathe on the decks! Each room at the Lakeview Cove is thoughtfully curated for guests to enjoy and nearly every room (including the laundry room!) offers incredible views of the lake. Cook up a meal in the the well stocked kitchen with granite countertops and high-end Wolf appliances. Enjoy your meals on the outdoor dining set (outdoor dining deck features a Weber Grill and Ooni pizza oven connected to a gas line) on the deck or in the dining room. Retreat to the basement for evening activities including watching a movie on a 75 inch flat screen smart TV, playing pool, ping pong, foosball or an arcade game, or mixing up cocktails at the bar. When it’s time to recharge, our 6 bedrooms are the ultimate sanctuary. Each bedroom has updated furniture and is stocked with high end linens and most beds have premium mattresses (Casper and Tuft). On the second level, the primary bedroom features a premium king bed, sitting area, private balcony, and a large bathroom with a jetted tub. Our upstairs "bunk room" bedroom features an en-suite bathroom, with a twin over twin bunk bed and trundle. Two other second level bedrooms feature a queen bed and a two twin beds. The lower level has two bedrooms. One with a queen sized bed and another room with two sets of bunk beds. See layout in listing! When you are ready to venture outside the home, you'll find that the home is centrally located to many attractions! 20 minutes to wineries/breweries along the shore line wine trail (see our guidebook for recommendations) 30 minutes to South Bend and Notre Dame 30 minutes to Three Oaks for good restaurants and antique shopping 30 minutes to Silver Beach in St Joe’s (carousel, park and fountain on beach) 10 minutes to nearby farms for seasonal fruit picking 7 minutes to amazing fishing and hiking and cross country ski trails along the St. Joseph River. 45 minutes to downhill skiing Guest access We have a lot of stairs down to the lake.
