Dupont and Pisgah National Forest are both a short drive to enjoy hiking, biking and scenic views. The space A large wrap-around covered porch greets you as you approach the home. You enter into the great room with cathedral ceilings and cozy fireplace. The home has wonderful oak floors, tile bathrooms and natural wood accents. The kitchen features a gas stove, granite counter tops and stainless appliances. The main level features two king bedrooms; each with it's own en suite bathroom. A large dining room (or study) joins the spacious living room via barn doors. Laundry room and closet storage space is plentiful. The basement level features a third bedroom with queen bed. A separate full bathroom features pebble tile and new rainfall shower. The basement hallway leads to newly finished game room; complete with wet bar and pool table. Enjoy the 5 new smart TVs located in each bedroom and indoor living spaces. Log-in to your own favorite apps for streaming shows. Hot tub: Soak your stress away in the new 6 person hot tub located on covered deck. ---FAQ--- Cleaning: We adhere to industry's best standards. This includes professional sanitation at $250 charge to all guests. We provide a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap at each sink, dish-washing detergent, laundry detergent and dish soap. We provide coffee filters, linens, bedding, towels and all you need to cook with in the kitchen. Early Check In and/or Late Check Out: This might be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If possible, there might be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates. Pets: The owners welcome most pets, but prior approval is needed. Approval is offered on case-by-base basis. So please inquire in advance. There is a $150 non-refundable pet fee (per each) with a limit of 2 dogs per booking party. This fee is NOT automatically added by Airbnb, so please inquire for approval) Firewood: We do not provide, but there are several 24-hour stores within minutes that sell in bundles. Hot tub care *** GUEST CONFIRMATION REQUIRED *** ---To protect your own health and safety and the integrity of tub and linens, all guests must shower before and after using hot tub. ---No pets of any kind or size are permitted in hot tub. --Leave spa covers on and secured after use. Spa cover is for insulation only and is not designed to support weight. Please do not stand or sit on spa cover. ---Towels are located in linen closet attached to main bedroom. Please take care of our brand new linens. ---Water quality is professionally maintained prior to arrival. Guests are responsible for maintaining water quality through their stay. Depending on usage and length of stay, expect to test and add chemicals to ensure maximum enjoyment and safety. Chemicals are stocked in deck storage bin. -Do not take glassware or bottles onto the covered deck. This is for your own safety. Guest access Parking for up to three vehicles is available on the gravel lot adjacent to home. The driveway is steep, but well maintained with sections of pavement and gravel. The owner is not responsible for guests vehicle access due to weather conditions. In the case of snow or other inclement weather, park close to the street to secure egress. Other things to note Requirements: This is a no smoking property No guns, fireworks, parties, re-arranging of furniture. No placing any trash or items in gas fireplace (no roasting marshmallows inside). Only wood may be burned in outdoor fireplace. ONLY toilet paper may be flushed down toilets (no "flush-able wipes" or feminine hygiene products, etc. can be flushed as this home is on a septic system). Do not put food down kitchen sink drain. Trash must be securely bagged and placed in outside bins. Trash pickup is once per week.
