Within 2 miles of both the Appalachian Trail & wineries, The Coop blends rural charm with modern comforts through solar-powered amenities, fresh linens, telescope stargazing & a secluded fire pit. While there haven't been hens at The Coop in decades, guests are welcome to enjoy their fresh eggs & visit them living happily across the street! For guests seeking a more immersive experience, please contact the Host to join you inside the fenced area. HOST TIP: Consider saving any leftover foodies to give the piggies an extra special treat!!! Clucking Hens - While the neighbors' homes are barely seen from The Coop, they are close by and noise can echo on the mountaintop. Please respect the privacy and noise pollution of our friendly woodland community. - Guests can seek additional privacy and solitude by following the guided path to the fire-pit and Teepee-style tent. Follow the path further to find the hidden fresh Mountain Cold Springs. Cock-a-Doodle-To-Do (and other things to consider when heading to The Coop!) - The mountain temperature is typically 7-10 degrees cooler than temperatures at the bottom of the mountain or in town.
