Our cabin is nestled in the Appalachian mountains near Cherokee National Forest. We are 1 mile from Watauga Lake and near the Appalachian Trail, 421 Snake, Boone, NC and the Virginia Creeper Trail. The cabin has 3 full size beds. Keep in mind this cabin is 383 sq ft. It has an efficiency kitchen, a full bath with beautiful vessel sink, and all counter tops are custom built live edge. This cabin is dog friendly but please do not leave your pet in the cabin unattended. The space The cabin has 3 full size beds which include a set of full over full bunk beds. There is a kitchenette that includes fridge, Keurig, microwave, air fryer, toaster oven, electric skillet and slow cooker. There is a covered front porch where you can smoke or just enjoy the beautiful scenery. There is a full bath with a beautiful vessel sink and all countertops are custom built, live edge. There is a bistro type addition to the kitchen counter that has 2 bars stools. There is a family cemetery in the hill in front of the cabin. The occupants are very quiet and have never complained. 😆. Your gps will probably tell you to turn on Adam’s Cemetery Rd. That is our driveway. The driveway has been upgraded . Please put your vehicle in 1st gear, r and drive up at a moderate pace. Don’t slow down near the top. That is where it’s the steepest. You will need to make a sharp left at the top. There is parking for 1 vehicle in front of the garage and 2 more or 1 more and a small boat on the hill straight up from the driveway. If you bring a boat we suggest you pull in and back the boat up into the hilltop parking. It will be much easier to exit to the nearby boat ramp. Please do not park in front of cabin. This is the perfect place to star gaze or watch meteor showers. Let us know if you plan to do this and we’ll turn off all our outside lights. NOTE: The overhang going into the front porch from in front of the cabin is 5’9”. There is more clearance on the end next to the garage, if needed. NOTE: this cabin has a very small water heater. You will need to stagger showers and or take short showers. I would not recommend riding a motorcycle up our driveway. Please put your car in 1st gear as you come up the driveway. Do not hesitate near the top where it is the steepest. Make a sharp left when you reach the top and park in front of the garage area. Guest access If you would like to have a campfire let us know. There is a place in our back yard where you can have one. You will need to provide your own wood. This is only available during certain times of the year because of fire restrictions, so just ask. We can provide outdoor chairs. You are expected to clean up after yourselves. Please do not shoot off fireworks on the property as it scares my dog terribly. Other things to note There is a fan and radio with CD player, hey we’re of that generation!😂 To operate either one just make sure the power strip is turned on first then adjust either as you normally would. If you need help let me know. Please return the remote to the mini split a/c-heat to its position on the wall by the window. Please leave the TV remote under the TV. There is an early check-in or late check-out fee of $25 per occurrence, depending on availability.
