The kitchenette is built into the indoor bathroom (where the toilet & hand sink are) - if that weirds you out, please don't book a visit. Note: OUTDOOR shower only (hot water comes in quickly). Last 2 miles are sandy road/some rocks; my 2-wheel drive VW Golf makes it easily. The space This brand new home was built ground up during COVID on 5 desert acres. Even local builders agree, 3Goat has probably the best views in this area. Being tucked right against the mountain, the casita offers especially dark & star-filled night sky views. Guests stay in a fully separate casita, steps up from a main house - with a full kitchenette, roofdeck, front patio, back patio, INdoor toilet & handsink and separate OUTdoor shower. You'll get gorgeous views of the entire valley and distant mountain ranges. Night skies are framed by Goat Mountain, directly behind the casita. OUTDOOR SHOWER ONLY - Even in the winter, days tend to be warm and the hot water comes in quickly with great water pressure. The last approx. 2 miles to the house are a SAND ROAD and it's a slightly ROCKY (small rocks) driveway. My VW golf two-wheel drive makes it okay but you may not want to drive a super fancy lowrider vehicle up here. 😊 Guest access Guests have sole use of the Casita, its patios, the outdoor shower, and the casita roof deck while they are here. You are welcome to hike around my 5 acres which lead directly up to Goat Mountain. Our 1-3 mile sunrise and sunset walks around the surrounding area are pretty spectacular too. We are friendly with all the direct neighbors and feel lucky to have such great ones! Other things to note We say it everywhere here, but remember there's an outdoor shower only now. That might mean in winter, you'll want to shower during the warm days, but the hot water comes in quickly and the pressure is strong.
