LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! The 180 degree views from our screened in lanai are amazing! You get full views of the Bayside Marina, Pine Island Sound and the pool deck! Our place is privately owned so you still get access to the resort's beautiful public beach which is within walking distance across the road thru the Beach Villas path, the Bayside Villas pool and hot tub! We also provide beach chairs, an umbrella and a wagon! You do NOT have access to Sunset Beach, North End pool or Tiki bar. The space Our spacious one bedroom condo has a king sized bed in the master bedroom and a queen sized sofa bed in the living room and two four piece washrooms. Our property was recently updated so it feels brand new! Our property is also a private residence within the South Seas Island Resort. This means you WILL NOT have resort privileges but still have access to the Bayside Villas pool, hot tub and the resort’s public beach which is across the road and thru the Beach Villas path. (excludes Sunset Beach, North End pool and Tiki Bar). We provide portable chairs, a beach wagon and an umbrella for your convenience as the resort will not allow you to use theirs. The condo is professionally managed by Royal Shell so it will be cleaned and set up with the finest linens and bath towels. We do provide beach towels. Royal Shell will also take care of all of your needs and will advise you on how and where to check in at their office in Sanibel Island, enroute to our property. They can also assist you with any issues that might arise during your stay and are available 24 hours a day! Please review our attached Guidebook for tips on where to eat, where to shop and what to do while you are here! Guest access Please note that due to Hurricanes Ian, Helene and Milton, the elevator is still out of order and there is ongoing construction on the resort property and in some of the units in our building. I have no control over which unit is being worked on at any given time. Workers generally start at 8am until 4 pm. I strongly suggest to park your car in the lot under the building due to the construction equipment and vehicles in the outdoor parking lot. The fully screened lanai is the perfect spot for enjoying your coffee or a cocktail while you watch the boats go by but make sure you wear bug spray and shut the patio doors otherwise the No-See-Ums (Florida tiny bugs the size of chia seeds) will get inside the condo! They can get through the screens so please ensure you keep your patio doors closed. You will have full access to the building's amenities including the beautiful Bayside Villas pool, hot tub, resort beach (public side and not including Sunset Beach), laundry room (fee) and free parking. Other things to note Due to the devastation of Hurricane Ian, there is still a-lot of construction going on in our building. Thank you for supporting Captiva’s economy while they do their best to recover. I strongly suggest you park your vehicle in the parking lot under the building due to the construction equipment and vehicles in the outdoor lot. WE are NOT responsible for any damage on your vehicle. Park in outdoor lot at your own risk. We do not provide beach towels so please bring your own. We do not provide daily housekeeping or linen changes. If you would like the unit cleaned and/or linens changed during your stay, please advise our property management team at Royal Shell and they will make arrangements and bill you directly for this additional service. You will have full access to Bayside Villas private pool and hot tub! You do not have access to the North End pool or Tiki bar or Sunset Beach. WE DO NOT HAVE RESORT PRIVILEGES. Renting or bringing your boat? No problem! Dock it right in front of our building in the Bayside Villas Marina for a fee of 40 US dollars a day! You will have a full view of your vessel from our screened in lanai your entire stay! Message me if you plan on bringing a boat and I can walk you through the process. If you plan to barbecue there are several gas grills just outside the building that you can use free of charge! Parking is free! If you are worried about your vehicle getting dirty during your stay, you can park it under the building! There are communal washers and dryers on the ground floor of our building that you can use for a fee. There is an app that will allow you to pay for the use of the machines online.
