Sandy Beach Camp
Enjoy a campfire and peace and quiet this fall or book in the winter for ice fishing. Road is plowed for year round access. Easy access to the lake with a snowmobile/four wheeler for ice fishing. Camp sits up on a hill overlooking the pond. There is a trail large enough for a full size vehicle down to the water. Should be able to get an ice shack down there. Camp is heated with a propane monitor heater. Gas stove and fridge. Nice outhouse. No running water. The space There is one bedroom and a day bed with a trundle and cots. Ideal for singles, couples, and couples with children. The main area is open with a small kitchen area, a small dining area, and a small living room area. It is very comfortable and cozy. There is a gas grill and a gas griddle on site. Plenty of room for a camper or tents also. Guest access You'll have the entire camp as well as a spacious and private level lot for hanging out, yard games, etc. There is a short path down to the beach/water front where you can sit or enjoy the pond. There is a sandy beach to enjoy and the pond has a sandy bottom. Other things to note About 40 miles to Bar Harbor and 30 to Bangor. There will be instructions on how to use appliances, generator, etc. Cell service is limited. There is no internet.
