Welcome to the Ticket to Paradise Lake House on Balch Lake! Steps from snowmobile trails and a short drive to hiking, skiing and shopping in North Conway. Relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of a newly renovated contemporary lakefront home, which is perfect for families and friends seeking a peaceful getaway. We’re tucked away in a secluded cove with 1.5 acres of land surrounded by the sounds of nature. Balch Lake is a 577-acre lake located on the NH-ME border. The space Where You’ll Stay Come enjoy the serene and cozy lakefront home away from home! The homey ambiance allows you to unwind from everyday life. Experience waking up to the sunrise, sipping coffee or tea on the front deck overlooking the lake. We’ve partnered with Mosquito Squad to treat the property with an all-natural spray for mosquito and tick control. This three-level contemporary home can sleep 8-10 people. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths and 1 ½ bath. The main level contains 1 bedroom with a bunk bed (king and twin mattresses) and a full bath. The lower level includes a master suite with a king-size bed and a full bath and the top level has 2 bedrooms - one with 2 full-size beds and the other with a king size bed and a ½ bath. We also have a portable oversized playpen for infants or toddlers (can be used as a bed as well) and a high chair. The home has an open floor-plan living space. We have brand-new kitchen appliances, quartz countertops, an electric stove, a microwave, a refrigerator and a dishwasher. Our kitchen is fully stocked with dinner and bakeware, glasses, utensils and children's dish sets. We have a two-level large deck with a gas grill and patio seating overlooking the lake. Bathrooms come complete with bath towels and toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and toilet paper. For your convenience, there's a laundry room with a washer and dryer on the lower level. Your lakeside haven awaits, promising comfort and a touch of luxury! Guest access Guest have the entire house and grounds to themselves. Other things to note Wintertime Fun: There are lots of activities within an hour of our home. - Ride right out to snowmobile trails on the New Hampshire Bureau of Trails - Ice fishing at Tim Moore Outdoors at Lake Winnipesaukee - just over 30 minutes away. - Skiing, snowboarding, tubing and ice skating are available at King Pine (30 minutes) and Gunstock Mountain Resort (40 minutes). - North Conway is an hour away and includes historic sightseeing, dining, shops and unlimited hiking in the White Mountains. - A little further away enjoy family activities at Santa’s Village and the NH Ice Castles. Dining / Groceries: - Within 5 minutes: Blue Bay Seafood & Steaks, Knotty Pine Grill and Tavern, Country Goods & Groceries - Within 10-15 minutes: Poor People’s Pub, Tumbledown Farm to Fork, Lino's (breakfast, lunch), Wakefield House of Pizza, Wakefield Inn & Restaurant, Wonton’s Chinese Restaurant, Lovell Lake Village Market and Hannaford Supermarket Summertime Fun: Relax by the private beach, take the canoe, kayaks or paddleboards for a ride or enjoy each other's company by the fire pit. We have outdoor lawn games such as corn hole, Kan Jam disc toss and many more. The water level in the lake can fluctuate, so we kindly ask you to refrain from jumping / diving off the dock. North Conway is less than an hour away and includes historic sightseeing, dining, and shops. There is unlimited hiking in White Mountain National Park and don’t miss Diana’s Baths, a favorite for families. GUESTS USING KAYAKS, CANOES AND ANY OTHER WATER ACTIVITIES AT THEIR OWN RISK. GUEST SWIM AT THEIR OWN RISK. LIFE JACKETS MUST BE WORN WHEN ON A FLOATING VESSEL.
