Relax with family and friends on peaceful Chickasaw Lake in the gated Lake Arrowhead community located about 50 miles from Atlanta. Enjoy a private dock with direct access to Lake Chickasaw. Pedal-boat & canoe provided year-round, kayak & paddleboards seasonally available. Gated community offers hiking trails, golf, tennis, pickleball, 2 swimming pools, a playground, & a clubhouse with a restaurant. A nearby marina on Lake Arrowhead offers sailboat & powerboat rentals. The space The house has comfortable spaces both indoors and outdoors. Both the deck off the main level and the screened-in porch off the lower level have both a sitting area with a fire pit and a dining area. There's an outdoor Weber grill on the deck and a pizza oven on the screened-in porch. Other spaces include a spacious living room with a gas fireplace, a dining room that seats 8 people, a well-equipped kitchen, and a laundry room on the main level. There's a rec room with a wet bar and a media room on the lower level. The primary bedroom and private bath are on the main level along with a powder room. There are two additional bedrooms on the lower level with a shared bath. One of these rooms has a queen bed; the other has two twin beds, each with a comfortable trundle bed, so it can sleep up to four people. The rec room offers a comfortable sitting area, a wet bar with a small fridge, and a combination pool/ping-pong table. All three bedrooms, the living room, and the rec room have TV's. The separate media room has a 78-inch TV and offers seating for six people in four recliners and two additional chairs. Guest access Guests have access to all rooms in the house except the garage and two storage areas that are kept locked. The driveway provides ample parking. Other things to note Lake Arrowhead is a gated community that is governed by the Lake Arrowhead Homeowner's Association. Use of this property and the surrounding community is subject to the rules and regulations of the Association including, but not limited to, the following: (1) Only watercraft registered with the Association are allowed in Lake Chickasaw and/or Lake Arrowhead. Guests may not bring their own canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, floats, or other watercraft to use in the lakes. Any unregistered watercraft will not be allowed through the community gates. A canoe, a kayak, a pedal-boat, and paddleboards are provided at the house for guest use. The canoe and pedal-boat are available year-round. The kayak and paddleboards are seasonally available. No other watercraft may be brought onto the property. Life jackets are provided and are required. (2) Guests may use all community facilities including the swimming pools, the golf course, pickleball, tennis, playground, hiking trails, and clubhouse with its restaurant. There is a fee for golf. Guests are responsible for any costs they may incur related to any activity. This includes, but may not be limited to, golf, boat rentals at the marina, and restaurant charges. Lake Arrowhead is a neighborhood.
