Welcome to Muskrat Landing! Come find your tranquil state of mind in this newly renovated 1200 Sq Ft waterfront cottage. 3 bedrooms, situated on over 1.3 acres with 225 ft private water access. Partially wooded, in a private community, you will love the appointed details that went into creating this getaway. Includes a huge waterfront deck and house deck for relaxing well into the evening. A large fire pit area to warm your toes, kayaks/tubes for water fun. Short drive to HersheyPark and more! The space We truly care for our guests here at Muskrat. Your sleep is as important as how you play. All cotton sheets and bedding is our mainstay in every room, our main bedroom sports a high end KING size bed for comfort and support. Multiple pillows and blankets will be available if you sleep with more than one! We utilize environmentally friendly cleaners and keep a low profile for perfumes as to accommodate anyone with allergy challenges. Please be aware, this is a “NON SMOKING”property inside and outside. Our living room boasts a waterfront view along with a 50” Roku TV. Netflix and free channels will be included. We have a console under the TV with plenty of games to choose from for your stay. If your heart and time away includes cooking up something wonderful, our kitchen is large with a coffee station and full size appliances. We try to think of every need for your stay including spices on hand, complimentary coffee for the Keurig and a hot electric tea pot if you love tea. Our fire pit area includes outdoor games such as corn hole, hot dog sticks and wood logs are available onsite for the fire pit . No extra charge for wood! Our waterfront deck sports a bar with stools, patio dining at its best while looking out over the water on a very large tributary of the Susquehanna River. There are also other lounge chairs there including a table and grill for your use. Overhead lights are on a timer so no need to ever flip a switch to see in the evening! We offer 4 kayaks- 4 tubes for your stay with life jackets and paddles. We have our own dock and private access for all water activities including fishing. ( you will need a PA fishing license) Please let us know if you would like to utilize the kayaks/tubes during your stay so we can make sure they are accessible for you. There will be a waiver that needs signed in regards to release of liability if your taking them out for a couple of hours or for the day. We want you comfortable during your stay with us! Other things to note Muskrat Landing is located within 20 minutes of HersheyPark and other Hershey attractions. There are 2 golf courses within minutes and Ski Roundtop is an option for all skiers in the winter. Harrisburg City is about 10 minutes from our location with its diverse eateries, venues such as The Farm Show Arena, Whitaker Center, Broad Street Market and the Arts district.
