Gather round the fireplace or kitchen bar to make memories that will last forever in this quiet and secluded Waterfront Lakeside Lodge just 13 miles from scenic downtown Talkeetna. A Peddle Boat, two bikes, 3 separate bedrooms each with their own baths, an additional bedroom and two more sleeping areas. The space Beautiful views of the Lake from the living room, dining room and 4 bedrooms. There is a steep trail down to visit the waterfront with a Peddle Boat and a one man pontoon boat for use, Adults only. Life Vests supplied and required. Fishing poles are available for use as well, Fishing Licenses required and familiarity of the Regs can be found online. Additionally there are two bikes for use on the many miles of Bike Trails nearby.. There are 4 steps leading up into the Lodge through the main house entryway. One bedroom with a King size bed is located on the main floor level and has it's own private full bathroom and balcony with lakefront views. The living room, dining room, T.V. kitchen and another half bath complete the main floor of the Lodge. There are stairs leading up to the open loft area with 2 loft beds (Doubles) great for kids or young adults. An air mattress and Pack and Play are available there as well. Additionally there are 2 more bedrooms, each with King size beds located at either ends of the loft area, private and each with their own full bathrooms and waterfront balconies. There are stairs leading down from the main floor to the lower level laundry room and the extra living space. This lower level space has waterfront views and accommodates an additional 4 people comfortably. There is also one private bedroom with a Queen size bed and adjacent, another sleeping area with two full size beds. There is a large smart T.V. Desk, full kitchen and a three quarter bath to complete this space. There is an additional outside entrance to this apartment on the bottom floor, lake side for quick easy access to the lake and backyard fire pit. This units interior doorway leads to stairs up to the main floor of the Lodge. Within walking distance or ride one of our bikes to The Alaska Birch Syrup & Wild Harvest Shop and only 1 Mile to the local grocery store and great Pizza and Brew @ The Denali Brewing Company off The Spur Hwy. or drive 15 minutes into Downtown Talkeetna and great fishing and sight seeing. We have 2 bikes for use and there are 14 miles of Bike paths that lead from the Spur Hwy. all the way into Downtown Talkeetna, just 13 miles north of our Property. Guest access You can access the lake via a steep trail down from the Lodge. Our entire property is available to you to walk and explore. Be mindful that we are on 10 acres however we have neighbors to either side of us. You have our entire property to yourselves. The Main floor, the upstairs and the downstairs are all included in the Lodge rental and will accommodate up to 12 people maximum. 4 private Bedrooms and two more open sleeping areas completes this property. The garage is not available for use other than to store your sealed trash bags into the garbage bins located there. Leaving food or trash outside will attract bears. The storage unit onsite is not accessible for use to our guests. There is a laundry on the lower level for use and a freezer to store your fish if that was what brought you to Talkeetna. The two bedrooms upstairs have their own full baths and King size beds. There is the open sleeping loft on that level that separates the two bedrooms and has two double beds and an air mattress and Pack and Play. The main floor bedroom has a King size bed and a full bath. That leaves the downstairs apartment that is included with it's one bedroom and Queen size mattress and the additional sleeping area with two single beds, a full Kitchen and a three quarter bath. The fishing poles, bikes, barbeque, fire pits, life vests and watercraft are all available for use at your own risk. Please do not leave children outside unsupervised and be bear aware, wear bear jingle balls which we have available, to help keep animals away while you are enjoying the out of doors. Other things to note No Fireworks are allowed anywhere on the property or Lake. Quite hours are 11 pm to 8 am. We are on 10 acres however there are neighbors on either side, please be mindful. No fish or game processing is allowed at the Lodge or on the property. If your fish is processed offsite you may bring it back to store in the freezer onsite if the fish is properly processed and vacuumed sealed. Local Fishing Charter guides will process and freeze your catch for you too. There are fishing guide services in Talkeetna as well as restaurants and a Brewery. We are situated on 10 acres so feel free to wander or cross Country Ski in the winter. We are located about 10 miles from downtown Talkeetna which is an adventure to experience! Just be bear aware and moose aware too when out of doors. Carry pepper spray and bear jingle balls when outside. Additionally, using the fireplace, fire pit and accessing the Lake, using any watercraft and the required floatation devices as well as being out of doors in general all carry their own risks and vigilance in following the rules and awareness of your surroundings at all times as well as adult supervision of children is necessary and required. Wild animals live in and around the woods so children should not be allowed to roam free without adult supervision and the necessary precautions to be able to fully enjoy this property and Talkeetna, Alaska safely.
