Y Beudy - Three Bedroom House, Sleeps 6
Y Beudy is a former milking parlour that has been converted into a ground-floor accommodation with special amenities for individuals with disabilities or the those with less mobility. Situated in the Conwy Valley, surrounded by peaceful countryside and only a short distance away from the town of Conwy, Y Beudy can sleep up to 6 people in three bedrooms. The cottage is found on an organic working farm, where sheep and Welsh Black cattle are raised. Each of the four cottages is designed to offer personal privacy and all have a wide view of the valley, and Y Beudy is no exception. This is the perfect spot for a family vacation, giving kids the opportunity to observe animals and discover farm life throughout the four seasons. The former cowshed and milking parlour has been transformed into a spacious cottage that caters to the needs of those with limited mobility. The eco-friendly building benefits from geothermal heating and has been furnished to the high standards. The cottage features three bedrooms, two of which have their own bathroom, including one with a whirlpool bath and shower, and one with a shower room. Additionally, there is a family shower room that has a wheelchair-accessible shower. The kitchen, dining, and living area is generously sized and includes a log burner and a conservatory leading off. Practical amenities include geothermal underfloor heating, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, a video player, WiFi, DVD players, and a TV in each bedroom. There is also garden furniture and a BBQ available for use. The lounge also features a rise-and-recline armchair, and bed linens and towels are provided. NB. A fuel supplement of £30 per stay is payable on site to the owners upon arrival, and is an additional charge to the total rental value of the property. On the premises, there is a shared laundry room with washer and dryer, a 5/6 person sauna with shower and changing room, and a heated games room (table tennis, etc.) with internet access that can be used by all the occupants of the cottages. The Conwy Valley is an intriguing area, very different to the rough, tough rocky mountains of neighbouring Snowdonia. The River Conwy flows through a broad, sheltered vale carpeted with rich farmland. It's flanked on the west by thick forests and to the east by the heather moors and woods of Hiraethog (otherwise known as the Denbigh Moors), a huge expanse of unexplored upland. All in all, it's an area of great variety, with tumbling falls, wooded gorges, mountain lakes, high moorland and a charming stretch of the North Wales coast. There's also a great choice of places to stay - everything from traditional market towns and villages to seaside resorts.
