Our two floor home offers four (4) beautiful bedrooms, three (3) full bathrooms two (2) that are “en suite”) and two (2) comfortable living rooms with cozy couches. With a beautiful and fully stocked chef’s kitchen, guests will find everything needed to cook meals and bake while enjoying the amazing view from the large kitchen windows. The outside will be updated this Fall with fresh paint, accents, front porch & patio. Guest access You are welcome to the entire home and grounds, except the garage. There are four acres of mowed grounds for family foot/volley/kickball, soccer, and yard games and 6 more acres for those who want to explore through the woods. If you walk or snowshoe/cross-country ski down the path beside the property, it will lead you to miles of gravel road for wonderful meanderings by the woods and lake. You can also walk a mile down the road to the base of Hawk Mountain trail where at the summit you'll see the most stunning views of the Lakes Region of Western Maine. Other things to note **INFANTS & TODDLERS** For guests traveling with infants/toddlers, please note that we do NOT provide any safety equipment such as outlet covers, cabinet safety latches, door knob covers and safety gates. There are full staircases in the home which may pose hazards to small children so parents need to be aware of this when booking our property. We do have a basic pack & play with sheet and a high chair available at the home. **REFUNDS** We cannot predict/control weather, therefore we do not offer refunds due to inclement weather/natural disasters/power outages or other events that are beyond our control. If this is a concern for you, we recommend that you purchase the travel insurance that Airbnb offers to all guests prior to completing payment. Maine is a unique and wonderful place with its share of lady bugs, spiders, and small insects. We have had the property (outside) treated with pest control, but just be aware you may need to squish a bug or two during your stay. We’ve done our best to rescreen the windows to keep out the “no-see’ums,” but some are sure to sneak in. This is not a reason for a refund. The toilets may sweat due to condensation formed from the outside temperature being warmer than the cooler water temperature inside the tanks. We are looking for a solution to rectify this issue and ask for your patience and understanding. This is not a reason for a refund.
