Come relax at our peaceful, sunlit lake retreat with walk-in & dock access to idyllic Taylor Lake! This vibrant lake house is imbued with the artistic sensibilities of our native home of Vietnam. Spend your leisure days swimming, kayaking, fishing or just wading in the clear shallow water. Or you may just enjoy the sun rise over the lake from behind the large kitchen bay windows. Within minutes are the amazing restaurants of downtown Fenton & Holly, and ski resorts at Alpine Valley & Pine Knob. Guest access HOUSE: The house's simple floor plan presents a large living room connected to a sunlit dinning/kitchen area, which is then connected via a hallway to the full bathroom and two equal-sized bedrooms. LAKE FRONT: The spacious backyard faces Taylor Lake, with a dock and lake access. There's an adult kayak, a child kayak, a row boat, and a paddle boat. PARKING: You can park 3 cars in the gravel area in front of the cottage. Please park only on the gravel area, and DO NOT PARK ON GRASS as there's a septic tank under the grass at the left front of the cottage. Your car may fall through if it's parked on the septic tank. WARNING: - Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house. A $1,000 cleaning fee will be charged for any sign of smoking. - Maximum occupancy is 6 guests. - Please let us know if you’ll be bringing any pet. - Guests may only start fire in the designated fire pit in the backyard. - Please do not leave children unattended when outside, near lake front, or on the water. - No diving off of the dock. The water near the dock is very shallow. Other things to note NATURE: This 70-year-old lake cottage not only faces the lake but also abuts the woods and creek. While this provides for an idyllic and tranquil setting, various wildlife (turtles, geese, cranes, voles, etc.) may come onto the property from time to time. We highly appreciate your assistance in keeping the property clean, properly disposing garbage, not leaving food and crumbs out, and immediately informing us of any incident so that we may promptly rectify the issue. ELECTRIC MOTOR ONLY. Please do not bring a gas motor or your own boat to this small private lake.
