Some rooms have low ceilings and doorways; an age-old quirk that reminds you this is somewhere a little different. A comfy sofa and armchair, television, open fireplace and views over the gardens make this a bright and welcoming space. Within the main house, you’ll also discover a games room with a television, a VR-enabled console, an assortment of board games, and a well-stocked library for laid-back evenings. The annex contains another living space, with the expansive summer room transforming easily into a family cinema room with blackout blinds and a large-screen television. Made for family feasts and special occasions, the kitchen is a warm hub in which to gather. If you’re cooking, choose from a five-door Aga and two electric ovens, with all the appliances and gadgets you’d expect to find in your own kitchen. And there’s plenty of space to sit, talk and enjoy each other’s company; the long, banqueting-style dining table has room for everyone. A second kitchen in the annex is ideal for rustling up breakfast or morning coffee before heading out for the day. While the house itself is impressive, equal consideration has been given to Hunters' outdoor spaces. The grounds extend across two acres, including a private drive, croquet lawn, vegetable garden and wildflower meadow.
