"Vistamar Maunabo" Apartment is a 3 BR 2 baths , located in a private gated community in Maunabo,PR. The apartment is about one hour drive from the airport. Vistamar Maunabo offers georgeous oceanviews from all the rooms and patio. It is just steps from a secluded beach and natural reserve, walking distance to Punta Tuna lighthouse. The complex has a pool. If you just want to unplug and relax from your daily routine, Vistamar maunabo is your place. We can help you with transportation or tours. The space *** We can offer roundtrip airport transportation or day trips for an extra fee, subject to availability. *** Vistamar Maunabo is an attractive nice condo overlooking the Caribbean Sea perched up on a cliff. Just across the street it is a nice long green space protected area along the beach (Punta Tuna Reserve), perfect for walking or simply sit and listen the sound of the waves. The condos are well maintained and secure with nice amenities. Our complex security guards are always giving rounds to keep the place and visitors safe, for that reason sometimes a little wait at the main entrance, please be kind to our security guards. Our place is more suitable for couples or families that are looking for quiet, peaceful and relaxing time enjoying the amazing combination of ocean and mountain views. The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 newly renovated bathrooms and kitchen. The living room offers a one person bed-sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, pots and everything you will need to cook or warm up your meals. Each room is equipped with AC units and ceilings fans. It is located on the ground floor, you have to go down one set of stairs, about 10 steps down. You will be able to enjoy our open patio with your own chairs. We offer 2 designated parking right on front of the building. We offer extra stuff for you to take to the beach, beach chairs, beach bag, small cooler and beach towels. Also, we will provide the basic supply, like toilet paper, dish soap, body wash, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. It is a washer and dryer available, but we don't keep laundry detergent. We have 2 Roku smart TV where you can watch your own shows or movies directly from your phone or apps. Wi-Fi is available, the password will be given at check- in. The place is perfect for relaxing getaways or to spend quality time with your loved ones. The community does not accept visitors that are not listed on the reservation, neither is permitted parties or celebrations with loud music, in order to maintain the peace and tranquility within the community, residents and guests. It's one pool, gazebo and gym at the higher area of the community that is strictly for resident's use. The visitors pool, gazebo, playground and half basketball court can be use during your stay. The visitors pool and communal areas are next to the security gate. Also next to the visitor pools is a pedestrian gate that will take you straight to the path that will direct you to the secluded beach the Natural reserve and the light house. The beach across the street is pretty rough most of the times, if you have kids, I recommend you go to Villa Pesquera, which is 3 minutes' drive or about 15 minutes' walk, this beach is small, private and have places where you can eat and get drinks. Also is Los Bohios beach , where depends what months of the year the sands is black.If you like to walk, you also will be able to walk in the beach about 20- 25 minutes to get to restaurants like Agua Viva and Baguas, the walk, the view and the ocean breeze is priceless. Guest access **The guest will have access to the public pool , jacuzzi and all the public areas. **The community have access (walking distance)to Punta Tuna lighthouse , The Humedal Natural Reserve and a small secluded beach. **You will have 2 designated parking at no cost. **It is not a visitor parking available, they just for residents visitors. **No parties are allowed . **No loud music is permitted. **No music or grilling in public areas are allowed. **The apartment is self check in. **Each guest has to be register at check in with security . **Please be aware that the main gate security guard has to do hourly rounds for our own safety , sometimes we have to wait at the main gate for them to do their rounds , but please be kind with them , because they work hard to keep us and our properties safe . Other things to note *** I will send via email to the person that makes the reservation ,a Guest registration forms that needs to be fill out with all the guests names in order for security to be able to check you all in without any inconvenient. As soon as you receive the form , you can send it back to me via platform message, text message , whatsup or email. I normally send the form a week before the stay. Also you will received from me a Welcome message , a reminder the day before , and all the instructions for your self check in the day of your arrival. The day after your arrival I will share with you some of my fav restaurants in the area. **Punta Tuna Lighthouse , (walking distance from the apartment). Punta Tuna Light is a historic lighthouse located in the southeast of the town of Maunabo, Puerto Rico on a sharp promontory at the southeastern most point of the island. It was first lit in 1892 . **Maunabo (Spanish pronunciation: [mawˈnaβo]) is a municipality of Puerto Rico located in the southeastern coast, northeast of Patillas and south of Yabucoa. **The top attractions to visit in Maunabo are: Punta Tuna Lighthouse. Playa Maunabo. Reserva Natural Humedal Punta Tuna. Desembocadura Rio Maunabo. Plaza de Recreo Municipal and Maunabo tunnels. **Also Maunabo is part of something calls " Chinchorreo route ", the word itself sound silly"chinchorreo" , but for those of you who are not familiar "Chinchorreo " is the Puerto Rican word for local bar-hopping ,where you visit various places and have a drink and a fitter, maybe dance a little, and move on to the next place. As you are driving around of the island you might see this chinchorreo buses parked at roadside bars and restaurants along the way and you might find yourself enjoying the Chinchorreo with the local people. ** Maunabo also has some tunnels that are knowns as -" El Tunel de Maunabo" ...You must blow your horn for good luck.. at least 3 times when passing this tunnel. ** Also they are 2 beautiful islands next to PR island , they still part of PR and you can visit them via ferry . You will need to drive to an other city to get the ferry. The 2 Islands names are 1.Vieques and 2.Culebra. Culebra has one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The beach name is Flamingo (flamenco) beach. Vieques also has multiple beaches, one is called Playa Negra because the sand is dark , also has one bioluminescent bay. Both of the islands offers a variety of different activities that you can set up a tour or explore each one yourself.
