BACKYARD & LAKE Take the party outside where there is plenty of comfortable seating on the large, covered patio, glider swing chairs, a smoker/grill, a beautiful yard, fire pit, bench swing, yard games, and of course, the main attraction: the lake/ river ! There are 3 kayaks, 1 canoe, and life vests available for use, so take advantage and make a splash! Fishing: bring your own gear CONSUMABLES We provide an initial and reasonable amount of toilet paper, paper towels, and other consumables like shampoo, conditioner, dish soap and laundry detergent. Beyond the initial supply, our guests are expected to manage their own refills. PARKING Parking is available for 8-9 vehicles. We have two driveways one in front of garage and the other with covered carport next to propane tank. Parking also available in gravel area in front of house. SECURITY and CAMERAS: We have a security camera located at the front of the property at the garage, the front door, the back door and boat dock. No inside cameras! *WATER LEVEL* The water level of the lake is low due to construction and maintenance being performed on the dams around Lake Placid. Depth of the river at our property currently ranges from approximately 1’ - 5’+ depending on time of day. There is a path leading down to the river. You are able to swim, float, kayak, paddle board or fish. Boating is not an option on Lake Placid at this time, as no public boat ramps are accessible. RED BEARDs landing is a rock bar in the middle of the lake that you can swim to and rent paddle boards, enjoy live music, and have a cocktail. *HOUSE RULES* No smoking indoors. Respect quiet hours from 10pm to 7 am. Pets are generally not allowed but exceptions can be made by requesting advanced approval. Keep the space clean. Parties and events (including family gatherings, birthday parties and weddings) are allowed on site with pre-approval. Be considerate of neighbors.
