Take the short walkway to the bath house for a soak with a view. All of this seclusion is within 12 minutes of charming Lopez Village. Welcome! The space The layout of our property is a big part of what makes the experience of staying here unique and memorable. Please view the pictures to supplement this description. There are two main structures - the main house and the kitchen/bath house - connected by a short, lit wooden walkway. Note that the bathroom is not connected to the main house. As you move between the structures, these short walks outside amongst nature become an integral part of the stay. The Main House: The main house is a beautiful post and beam constructed open space with high ceilings and warm wood interior. The main house is symmetrical, with one side set up as a living room and the other as the bedroom. The queen bed on the bedroom side is separated visually by a simple partition for privacy, and is flanked by twin beds on either side. This works for many guests, and we love it, but it is important to know that all guests are essentially staying in one large space together. The living room side of the main house can be converted easily into another sleeping space by sliding the couch over and pulling the murphy bed down. Check the pictures for how this works. In the center of the main house is a large table which is great for playing the myriad of included games or enjoying cocktail hour. Kitchen/Bath House The kitchen/bath house is split up into 3 main spaces, the kitchen, the full bath with shower, and the bathtub lounge. The bathtub lounge and full bath can be divided by an interior door creating privacy for both areas, or act as one larger space. Each bath area has its own entrance. The well stocked kitchen, although attached to the bath areas, has a separate entrance via a fun dutch door. A sunny deck with picnic table wraps around the front of the kitchen area and offers water and mountain views to the East.
