The charming penthouse, with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and in particular the highest mountain of Ticino (Adula 3402 m a.s.l.) is located on the top floor of an ancient Ticino house expertly restored in 2022 (Cà Nizza) in that of Marolta, in the Blenio Valley. The place offers the possibility of a relaxing and refreshing stay in a so called "energetic place" in contact with nature and the traditions of one of the most fascinating valleys of the South of the Alps. The space The building, built since the end of the 1700s, retains the typical characteristics of the time: pine roof, powerful stone walls, centuries-old larch beams, typical balcony terraces and large vaulted stone cellars. The penthouse welcomes its guests in spacious and bright spaces and is characterized by the wise integration of ancient elements (massive stone walls, exposed beams, doors and restored details) with the most modern comforts (full kitchen in antique wood, stove fireplace, bathtub with hydromassage and experiential shower). The furniture is also a mixture of tradition and contemporaneity: refined and functional at the same time to allow you to fully enjoy the particular energy that the house releases. The layout is structured on two levels with an important mezzanine in the center connected by an ancient granite staircase. On the first level are the solid wood kitchen, the large living room, the master bedroom and the bathroom with additional separate WC. The second level houses a large loft used as a reading room and a particular attic room with a round bed, third extra bed and views of the starry sky thanks to two special ceiling windows. The apartment also has an external balcony (typical period terrace) for exclusive use with magnificent views of the landscape and the surrounding mountains. The old vaulted cellars of the building are also accessible and offer the possibility of using some delicacies of the territory (cheeses, wines, etc.). From here you can reach and enjoy the common garden of the house. Guest access Marolta can be reached by public public transit or by car. For the former it will be useful to consult the official schedules, in particular of the Buses Bleniesi; for those arriving by car there is a public parking located 50 m from Cà Nice. Other things to note Ideal for couples or families who want to spend one or more weeks immersed in the beautiful scenery offered by the natural basin in which Marolta is located, in an ancient building full of history, without giving up the intimacy and modern comforts.
