Carried Away is right on the beach, with great views, and family-friendly activities. You’ll love this place because of the views and the private location, as well as the beautiful beach, sea, and water activities. The space Carried Away is on a half acre lot, perched on a small bluff overlooking the azure sea, giving the impression of standing on the prow of a boat. There are steps down to a private beach, where the water is crystal clear, and there is easy access to fabulous snorkeling. The house is newly renovated, using native Cat Island materials and craftsmen. The design is one of open spaces, wrap around deck and porches, and multiple seating areas. This affords the opportunity for communal gathering, as well as being on one's own. Every room in the house has a view either of the sea, or of the tropical foliage. In addition to a screened in porch, which is ideal for dining, there is a thatched roof gazebo, even closer to the beach, ideal for gazing at the sea, reading, lounging, or sunset cocktails. The sun sets literally in front of the house! My favorite place in the house is the outdoor shower, made of tropical hardwood, with benches, a large showerhead, and a stunning view of the sea. It makes showering a whole new experience! Guest access You will have access to all parts of the property, including the garden, parking spaces, and laundry room (in the garage). Other things to note The house offers two bicycles, some water gear, beach towels, and outdoor furniture. There is access to a sea kayak upon request.
