Upstairs with separate outside entry, this Studio Efficiency is perfect for one, two, or three persons or a couple with two small children. It's light, airy & very private. Full bath, kitchenette, A/C, WiFi, roof patio, & lovely views of trees in all directions. My property is on the southeast edge of town in a country setting. It's a walk to center - 8 or 9 long blocks - but there are inexpensive taxis available. The space Unlike most tourist rooms in Valladolid, the studio efficiency has a kitchenette with fridge, hot plate, microwave and toaster oven. There's air-conditioning, wireless internet, gated off-street parking and a private roof patio partially covered and partially open to the sky. There are hammock hooks inside and out - and a hammock. On moonless nights, star-gazing is definitely an option! Guest access The bed is queen-size. There is also a sofa that drops down into a single bed. The space is fully outfitted with sheets, pillows, blankets, towels, dishes, pots and pans, etc. I can lend small things needed such as an iron, a hair dryer, small kitchen appliances. etc. I have two bikes available to my guests - first come, first served. Similarly, I have a small TV with a DVD/VCR combo player and various shelves full of DVDs and tapes. I have a washer and dryer in my house with clothes lines outside. Guests can coordinate the use of these with me or, for a reasonable charge, my housekeeper can wash, dry and fold clothes for guests upon request. There are also laundries that will wash, dry and fold for 15 pesos per kilo within 5 to 6 blocks. Other things to note NOTE: In the fall, winter, spring - Cancun and the entire Caribbean coast is one hour later than Valladolid. During Mexican Daylight Savings, there is no time difference.
