Our private 3 bed/2 bath villa overlooks beautiful Playa Ocotal with the ocean/pool just a 1-2 minute walk away. This is our home for many months each year and is significantly upgraded from a "rental." Known for great snorkeling and protected from large ocean waves, Ocotal is an uncrowded “locals” black sand beach. Experience authentic Costa Rica but with modern renovations including induction range, dishwasher, bidet, powered blinds, cooling mister, and all you need for the perfect vacation. The space Our villa is two stories with the master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room and mist-cooled balcony on the top floor. The Pacific Ocean, Playa Ocotal (an award-winning Blue Flag beach), and wildlife are literally just right in front of your nose :-) The downstairs has two bedrooms: a king and the other with two twins. Both have large walk-in closets. They share a bathroom with the toilet and walk-in shower behind a door. Our home is about 85' above sea-level; which is high enough to get great views while also being close to the sand (and in no danger of high tides or waves). Guest access Los Almendros is gated with a guard house at the only entrance. Before entering for the first time, the front office will have you stop in and show your ID. If you have a vehicle they will note your license plate number and for the remainder of your stay the guard will just wave at you as he lets you in or out. All rooms in our villa are available for your use. There is tons of closet space on both floors (a few are locked for the maids or our personal belongings). Other things to note Unfortunately we are allergic to pets, including service animals. If you have one, please consider booking a different property.
