Other things to note TRAVELING IN WINTER • CalTrans can mandate all vehicles to carry snow chains between November 1st and April 30th. Chains are sold at most auto supply shops, hardware stores, and some convenience stores. We will not be held responsible and do not issue refunds if the city doesn't allow you up the mountain because your vehicle does not have snow chains. TRAVELING IN SUMMER • Green Valley Lake offers public access on WEEKENDS ONLY. Day passes are available for $3 per child and $10 per adult. Green Valley Lake also offers fishing passes, and rentals for rowboats, kayaks, pedal boats, and stand-up paddleboards. • Lake Gregory is available to the public if traveling MIDWEEK. This lake is about 30-40 minutes from our cabin. Access passes range from $15 to $30. Lake Gregory features a beach, splash pad, waterslides, and an inflatable waterpark. ☆ Pet friendly: We are pet friendly at a fee of $75 per pet, per stay. Cleaning up after your pet is your responsibility. No pets are to be left unattended in the home.
